Philipp focuses his practice on market access for digital health applications (DiGA), healthcare data protection, and digital health innovation. His clients primarily include developers of digital health applications and telemedicine providers, as well as research institutions, hospitals, and healthcare associations. Philipp regularly delivers guest lectures on healthcare data protection law and speaks at professional conferences. He is the author of numerous specialist publications, a commentator on substantial portions of the legal framework governing digital healthcare in three of the leading social and medical law commentaries, and co-author of the first standard reference work on digital health applications. JUVE recognized him as one of the "40 under 40", and WirtschaftsWoche/Handelsblatt lists him among Germany’s Best Lawyers in Healthcare Law.
