Thorsten Ebermann

Thorsten advises and defends individuals and organizations in matters of medical and white-collar criminal law. His practice focuses on property-related offenses (including fraud and breach of trust), corruption, and offenses involving bodily harm or fatal outcomes. Another key area of his work is the design and implementation of compliance management systems and whistleblower protection frameworks, as well as the conduct of internal investigations and matters of corporate and executive criminal liability. His clients include healthcare institutions such as hospitals, medical treatment centers (MVZ), laboratories, private practices, and nursing services, as well as companies and associations in the healthcare sector and mid-sized businesses from the private economy. According to JUVE, he is recognized as an “industry-experienced criminal defense lawyer.” Thorsten regularly publishes in leading specialist journals and gives lectures throughout Germany. He also serves as in-house counsel (Syndikusrechtsanwalt) and managing director of the German Association of Office-Based Cardiologists (BNK e.V.).
